I am a mixed media artist, colour, symbolism, spiritual and world cultures, inform my functional, decorative, whimsical art pieces.
Positions of responsibility in youth work, creative workshops, teaching in a women’s prison, running a creative sewing department in Hackney and lastly a teaching/ teaching assistant in a secondary school, have contributed to my creative journey.
My background in art was expanded by gaining a BA (hons) degree under the guidance of Raymond Briggs. I completed an art teachers’ certificate at Middlesex University.
My creative pursuits include a wide variety of mediums. Textile exploration has featured throughout my career.
